Director of the documentary Jump! Boys, LIN Yu-Hsien, makes a handsome follow-up with this motivational sports movie inspired by the life story of his brother. Growing up in a small town, Ashin spends his entire life training to be a professional gymnast in the national team. But his mother believes his work will amount to nothing and persuades his high school coach to take him off the team. Ashin then quits the sport entirely, spending his youthful days hanging out with the wrong crowd and brawling with local thugs. Following a violent incident, he and his friend are forced to flee to Taipei. When life in the big city turns tragic, Ashin returns home determined to re-enter the world of gymnastics no matter what obstacles await him.
