Face to Face aims to reveal what wrestling really is. First of all, it is a performance. Wrestlers are required to evoke emotions from tens and thousands of spectators by dramatic climaxes. They have the responsibility to guide the passion of the audience. Secondly, wrestling is an expression of stamina and endurance. It requires wrestlers to withstand pain in the midst of violent movements, and to endure physical suffering. But it is also romantic.
How does a group of wrestling lovers maintain their passion in spite of the obstacles from the outside world, and enthusiastically enter the wrestling ring to pursue their own honor? Face to Face documents the training and the daily role transitions in and out of the ring for these wrestlers, demonstrating the dreams of these young athletes.
