A commercial actress is raped by a driver when she tries to hitchhike from a remote shooting location. As she insists on pressing charges, she is met with humiliation and blame from the public. Later, she is found dead on a beach with the cause of her death unknown. Eager to solve the mystery, reporter Wan-Qing begins an investigation, but is then gang-raped by four drunk men. Now, bent on revenge and with nothing to lose, Wan-Qing's sole purpose is to raise hell on those men who have wronged her.
Following the formula of Taiwan B-movies, director YANG Chia-Yun sets the story against the backdrop of an appalling rape case. However, in this case she probes the issue through a wildly exciting story of personal revenge, filled with torturous moments and killing sequences. The frightening female image in the film can be said to reflect men’s unease as more and more women entered the workplace during Taiwan’s economic takeoff.
